Elvis TaylorElvis Taylor, CHA, CFBE
A seasoned hospitality professional, Elvis Taylor has been working in the industry for more than 20 years.  His first management opportunity came in 1991 when he was named General Manager of the Howard Johnson by Golden Glades.  Since then Taylor has managed independent, franchise, limited and full-service properties.
Currently Taylor, who comes from an educational background in accounting, is responsible for profitability, management, marketing, maintenance, and property systems development and information systems at South Beach Properties Inc.
Prior to joining SBPI Taylor held the position of VP of Operations for Kelco Management & Development, a hotel development and management company.  There he directed all operational activities of 10 hotels and was responsible for the development and adherence to policies and procedures at both the corporate and hotel level.  In this role, Taylor also helped with the take-over of various properties.
Taylor also has a strong interest in motivation and employee relations. He is known for his pursuit of higher professional development as he is continuously attending courses in management and leadership.

Kashmie AliKashmie Ali, CHA
Mr. Ali is an accomplished and business-savvy hotel and resort executive, with proven success in operations management in the Caribbean and the U.S. He has experience with all facets of business operations, including branding, sales, concept implementation, marketing, budgeting, finance, capital improvement, structural management, negotiations and more.
As Managing Director of Sugar Bay Resort & Spa, Mr. Ali is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 300-room, tropical beachfront resort in St. Thomas. Since joining, he has successfully implemented a business plan conversion, increasing total revenue two million dollars year-over-year. He also acted as an advisor in the resort’s transition to a true all-inclusive property. Mr. Ali has held this position since the fall of 2009.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Ali served as the Director of Operations at Jade Mountain and Anse Chastanet Resorts, luxury five-star boutique resorts located in St. Lucia. While there, he managed the pre-opening of Jade Mountain Resort, which included the implementation of a new, unique concept.
Mr. Ali also served as the Eastern Caribbean Regional Director of Operations for Sandals Resorts International, a chain of all-inclusive resorts located in Jamaica, St. Lucia, Antigua, and The Bahamas. Before joining Sandals Resorts, Mr. Ali was the Vice  President of Operations for Shamin Hotels, which owns and manages 11 hotels and lodging facilities. At Shamin Hotels, Mr. Ali oversaw successful franchise relations with such brands as Hilton, Holiday Inn, and Choice Hotels.  Mr. Ali has been professionally involved in the hospitality industry since 1992, when he began his career with American General Hospitality, Inc.
Mr. Ali has extensive formal educational training, most recently attending the George Washington University School of Business in 2005.  There, he received certification from the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
Mr. Ali is currently a Chairman of the U.S. Virgin Islands Hotel & Tourism Association, and a Trustee of the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.
